success friendship for dummies

Hey everyone, it has been a while i blog. Well, i've juz POP-ed. My BMT is over! I hope that i don't needa go back to Pulau Tekong anymore, though i have lots of memories over there. Hope that i can go back to tekong 1 day, but not for training.

I juz read aileen's blog, she has an entry, regarding how to handle relationship. Though it's impt, I think that handling friendship is more impt. I also have a set of values, on how to maintain ur friendship.

How to maintain ur friendship?

1. Never neglect your friendship due to ur girlfriend/boyfriend.(Your friend will be jealous and hurt)

2. Pls reply your friend's sms or email if they send you one. Some friends who realli care for you will think that you have encountered a mishap.

3. Don't make your friend to accompany you when you are going to meet a grp of friends whom your friend doesn't know them. Trust me, you will neglect your friend de.

4. Don't force your friend to do something juz to accompany you. For example, if your friend doesn't like playing basketball, don't ask him to play with you, no matter how much interest you have.

5. Never vent your anger on your friend. Though your friend may have high level of tolerance, you shldn't take them for granted. Think back, do you want someone to vent their anger on you?

6. He or she maybe your friend. When they do things for you, pls say thank you! Again, dun take them for granted.

7. Try not to make your close friends to work under you. There will be lots of conflict and eventually, it affects your friendship.

8. Do give your friends a tap on the shoulder, a HI-FIVE, or even a hug if you all are closer. Of course, this normally works for the same gender.

9. Building a friendship is like brewing a pot of cantonese soup. You need time. So don't be so anxious and despo when u wanna make a friend. Let nature takes the course bah!

10. Friendship actually still depends on chemistry, not physics. (LOL) If time proves that both of you can't be good friends, juz let it go bah! Friendship is just like a boy-girl relationship eventually.


These 10 ways are written according to my experiences for the past few yrs. I totally feel that it's true. Hmm.... do comment or tag if you have any suggestions.
